Asbestos removed during a pre-1960s garage demolition

Working at a detached pre-1960s house in Tollerton, Nottingham, the homeowner was having their old garage demolished in order that they could rebuild. However, with an internal ceiling and roof space that contained asbestos insulation boards it.

We safely removed the insulation boards in question as part of the overall demolition works. We directly connected to the garage enclosure where the removal works were taking place, with a 2-man cube work area in order to decontaminate on exit and ensure the best safety and hygiene controls were in place throughout.
