We attended a tenanted first-floor flat down in North London, under instruction from the landlord. A plumbing leak had impacted the flooring and after initially testing for the presence of asbestos, the results came back positive.
We sealed off the kitchen and utilised the fire exit in order to help contain any risks to residents whilst our removal work was taking place, keeping the stairwell free in case of emergency. We isolated and eradicated the risk, enabling the plumber to then complete the essential plumbing works and tackle the leak.
