Traditional Manor House
Hampshire
Brief
Ice Asbestos have recently completed an environmental clean of the roof space of a Grade 1 listed building in Hampshire.
This project included the removal of asbestos insulation to the pipe work in the roof space, as this was a live hotel measures had to be put in place to ensure that the minimum disruption was caused which meant the work was carried out during the week; giving the team only 3 working days a week to carry out the environmental clean.
The team worked hard to complete the project on time however, it took longer than expected. One of the reasons being the team found a nest of wasps and then a nest of honey bees in the roof space which required the bee keeper to come out on 2 separate occasions to remove them. Which wasn’t as straight forward as he would have liked.
However, on completion of the project the client was happy with the end result, and has since asked for the same team to return to carry out some further notifiable work.
